May 3 - Crazy Horse Memorial Korczak Day - 63rd anniversary of sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski moving to the Black Hills in 1947 to accept the invitation from Lakota leaders to carve Crazy Horse Memorial.

May 29th-31st - Memorial Day Weekend Open House - Free Admission* to residents of SD, MT, ND, NE, and WY. Booths featuring guest artists in Indian Museum of North America and Cultural Center. The "Legends in Light" multimedia program starts Memorial Day Weekend thru Native American Day. Crazy Horse Memorial is dedicated to honoring North American Indians and to telling their "epic" story - day and night.

June 3rd - Dedication Anniversaries - 62nd anniversary of 1948 dedication of the Memorial and first mountain blast. Also 12th anniversary of the dedication of finishing the face of Crazy Horse.
June 5th & 6th - Crazy Horse Volksmarch - 25th annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch hike to the face.The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is a 10K (6.2-mile) hike to the arm of the world's largest mountain carving in progress. The most popular organized hike in the United States.
June 18th - 20th - Crazy Horse Stampede Rodeo and Gift from Mother Earth Celebration - 20th annual Great Plains Indian Rodeo Association & PRCA rodeo events; American Indian & Western arts & crafts show-sale.
June 26th - Ruth Ziolkowski's 84th Birthday 134th Anniversary Of The Battle Of Little Big Horn - There will be an evening program honoring "Mrs. Z" as well as special additional effects in the Legends in Light show commemorating the Battle of the Little Big Horn. This is the first of two yearly night blasts on the mountain. Free Admission* After 7 P.M

June 21 - 1880 Train Father's Day Special - Dads ride for a child price when accompanied by a family member. Advanced reservations only (at least 24 hours). Special train robbery for dads on the 1:15pm departure.

June 26-27th - Sculpture in the Hills A juried sculpture show and sale featuring artists from across the nation along with city-wide events.
- June 17th -20th - Minnesota 2010 - 2 Days 2010 Miles - Hill City Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Information Center welcomes the Minnesota 2010 TEAM STRANGE Motorcycly Rally. The VIC center will host one of the check points on the 2010 mile ride. Riders who seek accommodations would be staying Friday night the 18th in Hill City and using the visitor center grounds for bikers to check in and get signed off on Saturday the 19th.

July 1st - 4th @ Hill City High School Theater - Leading Ladies - Two English Shakespearean actors find themselves down on their luck when they hear of an old lady in New York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews. They resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives to get the cash. The trouble is , when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews but nieces!
July 15th -18th @ Hill City High School Theater - Return to Forbidden Planet - The plot follows the crew of a routine survey flight under the command of Captain Tempest. Their spaceship is drawn mysteriously to the planet D'Illyria where mad scientist Dr Prospero and his lovely daughter Miranda are marooned.
July 29th -August 1st @ Hill City High School Theater - Little Shop of Horrors - A down and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul mouthed, R&B singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.

10:00 am Southern Hills Bike Run- Staging area in front of the Mangy Moose Saloon for the “Southern Hills Bike Run”. Leaving at about 11am and returning between 1pm and 2pm. Riders will sign up at $20 per bike, in which all proceeds will be given to the Emergency fundraiser.
2:00 pm Kickstart TV host, Warren Fuller and his co-host “Trashman”will begin their live feed on the stage.
4:00 pm Bike Builder Show hosted by Kickstart. Bike builders from all over the country will be bringing their bikes to Hill City. The main award will be a “People’s Choice Award”, given to the bike getting the most votes from 4pm to 7pm.
6:00 pm Miss Mangy Moose finalists will take the stage and a winner will be crowned.
7:00 pm “Trashman” will take the stage to do a rare performance as a solo singer and guitar player. (There will also be solo artists performing throughout the day.)
8:00 pm The band “BLAKE”, with our own Bill Bennett, will perform and be hosted by Warren Fuller from Kickstart TV. Bike show awards and various raffles will be held throughout their performance.
